Roofs Built for Warminster Neighborhoods

A lot of Warminster was built in the decades after World War II, and many of those homes are now on their second or third roof. That can mean layers of old shingles, tired decking and flashing that has been patched over the years. Many houses also have a low-slope roof over an addition or porch. We inspect all of it, show you photos and explain whether a repair will hold up or a replacement is the better investment.

Warminster Roofing FAQs

Common questions from Warminster homeowners, answered plainly.

Do you serve all of Warminster?

Yes. We work on homes throughout Warminster Township, from the neighborhoods off York Road and Street Road to the streets near the Montgomery County line. Our office is in Jamison, in neighboring Warwick Township, so Warminster is a short drive for our crew.

My house is from the 1950s or 1960s. What should I watch for?

Older homes often have more than one layer of shingles, worn-out plank or board decking, and flashing that has been patched more than once. We check all of that during the inspection. If a replacement makes sense, we tear off the old layers down to the deck, replace damaged wood, and install new underlayment, flashing and ventilation along with the shingles. We will tell you about any decking repairs as soon as we find them.

I live in a twin or townhouse. Can you replace just my side of the roof?

Usually, yes. When one side of a shared roof is replaced, the key is a clean, watertight transition where your new roof meets your neighbor's. We plan that tie-in before the job starts and explain how it will look. If you and your neighbor want to replace both sides at the same time, we can quote that too.

Do you repair flat roofs on porches and additions?

Yes. Many homes have a low-slope section over a back addition, sunroom or porch, and those areas are a common source of leaks. We repair and replace low-slope roofs as well as shingle roofs, so the whole house can be handled by one company.

Can you look at my roof after a storm, and will you help with insurance?

Yes. After wind or hail, we inspect the roof and photograph missing, creased or bruised shingles, loose flashing and any signs of water getting in. For insurance, we help with the roofing portion of the claim: we document the damage with photos and a written report and can go over the roofing details with your adjuster. Your insurance company decides what is covered, so we cannot promise a claim outcome.

What warranty comes with a new roof?

Our roof replacements include a 15-year workmanship warranty from DMS Contractors and a 30-year product warranty that covers the roofing materials. We go over both before any work begins. DMS Contractors LLC is a registered Pennsylvania home improvement contractor, PA HIC PA192318.

How do I schedule a free roof inspection?

Request an inspection online or call (267) 632-4737, Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. The inspection is free and there is no obligation. We walk you through the photos, explain what we found and give you your options.
