Careful, Clean Work
Roofing That Respects Newtown Homes
Newtown mixes some of the oldest homes in Bucks County with newer township neighborhoods built over the last few decades. Older houses need a careful hand around chimneys, dormers and trim, and many township homes are now reaching the end of their first or second roof. Either way, we protect your landscaping, keep the site tidy and walk you through photos of your roof before you decide anything.

Newtown Roofing FAQs
Answers to the roofing questions Newtown homeowners ask us most.
Do you work in both Newtown Borough and Newtown Township?
Yes. We work on homes in the borough and throughout the surrounding township. Many homes in both share a Newtown mailing address, and if yours is one of them, you are in our service area. Call us if you are not sure.
My home is in the borough's historic district. Do I need approval for a new roof?
Possibly. Homes in a historic district can have extra review for exterior changes such as roofing materials and colors. Check with Newtown Borough before you schedule the work. We can give you the exact product names, colors and specifications to include with any application.
Our township home still has its original roof. How do I know if it is time?
If your roof is around 20 years old or more, look for curling or cracked shingles, bare spots where granules have worn away, granules collecting in the gutters and stains on upstairs ceilings. A roof can look fine from the street and still be near the end of its life. A free inspection with photos will show you where it stands.
Will you protect my landscaping during the job?
Yes. We cover shrubs and plantings near the house, protect windows and the areas around the work, and clean up debris and nails at the end of the job. We walk the property with you before we leave.
Can you help me choose a shingle color?
Yes. We bring samples and help you compare colors against your siding, trim and brick in daylight. If your neighborhood has an HOA or your home is in a historic district, we will give you the details you need for any approval.
Can you inspect my roof after a storm and help with an insurance claim?
Yes. After wind or hail we look for missing, creased or bruised shingles, damaged flashing and signs of leaks, and we photograph what we find. We help with the roofing portion of the claim by documenting the damage with photos and a written report and going over the roofing details with your adjuster. Your insurance company decides what is covered, so we cannot promise any claim outcome.
What warranty comes with a new roof?
Our roof replacements include a 15-year workmanship warranty from DMS Contractors and a 30-year product warranty that covers the roofing materials. We go over both before work begins. DMS Contractors LLC is a registered Pennsylvania home improvement contractor, PA HIC PA192318.
How do I schedule a free roof inspection?
Request an inspection online or call (267) 632-4737, Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. The inspection is free, with no obligation. We show you the photos, explain what we found and let you decide.
